Joey is a Salt Lake City native but his passions for the environment and his community led him to study Political Science, Communications and History at Carroll College in Helena Montana. After graduating, he spent 15 years as a professional in the Broadband Communications industry with AT&T. There he managed the Network Operations Team for the Utah Area Market responsible for implementing and maintaining the fiber network and communications platform for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Joey then transitioned over to Comcast Communications where he first was tasked to create and manage a Risk Management and Collections team. The success of this department eventually led to an opportunity to manage the Salt Lake Area Sales, Service and Retention Department.
