Sales Development Representative Intern

We seek a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our internship program. As an SDR intern, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team by generating qualified leads and contributing to the growth of our customer base. This internship program offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and develop essential skills for a successful career in business development.

 

OBJECTIVES

  • Lead Generation: Conduct research and prospecting activities to identify potential customers and generate new leads. To initiate contact and qualify prospects, utilize various tools and techniques, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking.
  • Qualification and Outreach: Engage with leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to understand their needs, educate them about our products/services, and qualify them as potential customers. Could you provide relevant information and answer questions to nurture and progress leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to support their efforts in closing deals. Assist with product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics. Research potential target markets, customer segments, and new business opportunities to provide valuable insights for sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align lead generation activities with marketing campaigns and initiatives. Please coordinate with other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely follow-up on customer requests.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales and business development.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Advertising & SEO Intern

As the SEO & Advertising Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing by supporting our search engine optimization and online advertising efforts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to the growth of Gatemaster’s online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
    • Assist in conducting keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities.
    • Support on-page optimization efforts, including analyzing website content and suggesting improvements to meta descriptions, title tags, and header tags.
    • Assist in off-page optimization tasks, such as identifying link-building opportunities and managing online directories.
    • Learn and utilize SEO tools to track website performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Assist in analyzing website traffic and search engine rankings to provide insights.
  • Online Advertising:
    • Assist in the setup and management of paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and social media.
    • Help with keyword research for paid search campaigns.
    • Assist in the creation of ad copy and visual assets.
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics and assist in identifying areas for optimization.
    • Research competitor advertising strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and online advertising.
